If you are searching for an inspirational read on spiritual awakening, you won’t want to miss The Light Between Us: Stories from Heaven, Lessons for the Living by Laura Lynne Jackson. Inside this post, I share my review of her book.

The Light Between Us: A Review
The Light Between Us by Laura Lynne Jackson resonated with me deeply. Like most people who are open to their spiritual abilities as children (myself included), Laura didn’t understand her gifts as a child and thought it a curse.
Throughout the years, she questioned herself and struggled with her abilities. I saw myself in her, in that for many years, I would “close the door” to my spiritual side as soon as I noticed an opening. It was this constant opening and closing of this “door” growing up. But at some point, that door flies wide open, and you learn to come to terms with your gifts.
It wasn’t until Laura received a scientific understanding of her gift that she found herself at peace with her spiritual abilities. Since then, Laura has used her gifts to help many come to terms with loss and to live the best versions of their lives in the present moment.
“Every part of you is legitimate. Every part of you deserves to be explored. Don’t be afraid of your ability. It is real, and it’s a part of who you are.” – Laura Lynne Jackson
Inside The Light Between Us, Laura shares her journey of growth and development as a psychic medium. She is a lightworker bridging the gap between the physical and spiritual realms through her teachings and healings.
Laura reminds us that we all have the capacity to strengthen our intuitive senses. That being said, the process of opening to our spiritual selves is, in itself, a journey. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to learn all about her journey inside the book.
I found this book inspiring in that it reminds us that we are all interconnected, that our actions matter, and that each of us has the opportunity to make the world an even brighter place. We are all students and teachers in life; to learn and assist others in the way that only we can.
The biggest takeaway for me is the reminder that there is no death; our consciousness endures. Our deceased loved ones are alive and await our return home to the spiritual realm.
I recommend this book to anyone undergoing a spiritual awakening and, also, to those suffering from a loss.
